Do you need to stack? — Week 17
A smash = an outlier Week-17 game that actually moves a Championship lineup (QB 28+ · RB/WR 24+ · TE 18+ on DraftKings; a touch lower on Underdog). We check whether each smash came with a correlated partner — a teammate (team stack) or an opponent (game stack) who also smashed — or was a standalone lone smash. That’s the whole stacking debate in one number, and the count moves year to year with how explosive the slate was.
Top scorers
Every column sorts. Wk 17 = points that week in the selected scoring. ADP = where he went in Underdog BBM drafts (UDFA = undrafted). Adv = how often the field that drafted him advanced (16.7% baseline). Finish = full-season positional rank.
The stacks that could have won it — Week 17
The correlated combinations of players who all had outlier weeks — every one shown is a real smash, so a stack is however many popped together (2, 3, 4+), any position, no QB required. Team stacks = 2+ smashers on the same team. Game stacks ⚔ = smashers on both sides of one game — a shootout. Draft the pieces of one and a single game hands you a monster week.
The lone smashes — won a week by themselves
Ceiling games with no correlated partner — no teammate or opponent also smashed. These are the players who paid off on their own, no stack required. If this list is long, you didn’t need to stack; if it’s short, the ceiling lived in shootouts.
