Stacking Study — Postseason
Stacking Study — Postseason
Once you’re in the playoffs, weeks 1–14 don’t matter. This asks: if you had a specific stack and made the playoffs, how often did it advance you? Reconstructed from every entry in the field (2021–2025, ~2.5M teams), ranked by how far each teammate combo carried its owners — the deep run and each single playoff week. For the regular-season “which stacks got you into the playoffs” view, see the Regular-Season Stacking Study.
The outlier stacks — the combos that crushed
Once you’re in the playoffs, weeks 1–14 don’t matter. This asks: if you had a specific teammate combo and made the playoffs, how often did it advance you that week? So a stack with a mediocre regular season but a clutch playoff run (a Purdy, say) rises to the top. Rate = of the stack’s owners who were playing that round, the share that won and moved on. Flip the toggle for each playoff week or the whole deep run (made the playoffs → reached the final); grouped by team, click to expand every stack. Playoff rates are small in the absolute (only ~7% of teams survive a single week), so we also show each as a ×field multiple — how many times the field’s rate that stack beat.
Conditional advance rate: of the stack’s owners who reached that round, the share that advanced — shown next to the sample size. Only stacks rostered by enough playoff teams (200+) are shown so the rate is stable. Each card’s funnel traces the run: made the playoffs → won Wk 15 → won Wk 16. Player ADP is the true Underdog BBM draft slot; ownership = share of the whole field that drafted exactly that combo.
